When is the Right Time?

You may have noticed that as you get older, time seems to move faster. Summers are shorter, you often run behind, and spend more time than ever before catching up. No matter how we perceive the passing of time, the fact is, that the clock is ticking. Every moment that you don’t get started, is a moment that passes you by. This is not to say you should always be busy, but isn’t it time to stop waiting for the perfect time?

With this awareness, when ideas and dreams cross your mind, you won’t dismiss them so easily. If you have really decided to see a dream as an opportunity, instead of a waste of time, living life your way is just around the corner. When you start a sentence with, “I know this sounds crazy…”, pay attention! That crazy idea could be your future.

You can procrastinate for years till your face is blue it won’t get you any closer to starting. Nothing ever happens by itself. Luck is created from momentum and momentum is created from starting.

So what’s your excuse? You don’t have time? That was my biggest excuse. You see I already work long hours 6 days a week and want to spent the rest of the time with my family so there is absolutely no way of starting something — I just don’t have the time!

You might be waiting for things to settle down. For the kids to be old enough, for work to calm down, for the economy to recover, for the weather to cooperate, for your bad back to let up just a little...

The thing is, people who make a difference never wait for just the right time. They know that it will never arrive.

Instead, they make their ruckus when they are short of sleep, out of money, hungry, in the middle of a domestic mess and during a blizzard. Whenever.

As long as whenever is now.
