Real Estate Investing Is Hard Work....But Worth It

We all have busy lives. Investing in real estate is not an activity that is done each and every day, unless you are doing it full time. Distractions can easily take away your investing focus. Depending on your finances, it could be quite a few months in between buying properties.
Here are some techniques to help you stay focused on your financial goals.

Don’t Think it….Write it

Put pen to paper and remind yourself about your financial goals. Whenever you get distracted, read your goals. By writing down your goals you will reinforce your vision. It is difficult to lie to yourself when its on paper.

How do you Eat an Elephant?

Very slowly and in small chunks. Document your expenses that will take effect when you retire. That will give you a $ amount which now is your goal.
Then calculate your rental income. Each rental will help you to meet your goal. Tracking your progress keeps me motivated and on the fast track to early retirement.

Prioritise

Some tasks are more important than others. Some tasks are more urgent than others. Working on urgent tasks will allow you to get things done on time and important tasks allow you to maximize the benefits.

Removing Negativity

Network with like minded people who are actively making their dreams and goals come true. As important, stay away from fear-mongers and naysayers.
You can't soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.

This is not rocket science. Have a goal, stick to your goal and call on people who can help. Period.
